One of Sharm's original dive centres, operating from the heart of Naama Bay since 1986. Daily boats to the local reefs, Ras Mohamed and the Straits of Tiran, SSI training from first dive to instructor level, and a boutique hotel built around the dive operation rather than the other way around.

Family-run SSI training center operating since 1996 from Rohanou Beach Resort. Thirty-one staff, free nitrox, a house reef you can dive for a week without repeating a route, and access to Fury Shoals, Rocky Island, and Zabargad within a morning's boat ride.

European-founded chain with seven bases along the Egyptian coast from El Gouna in the north to Wadi Lahamy near the Sudanese border. Known for training quality and equipment standards. The Soma Bay flagship has a 420-metre jetty giving direct reef access, plus a dedicated Freediving Academy and Rebreather Centre.

Founded in 1990 by Hossam Helmy, who camped on the beach with a compressor and a tent. Now three eco-villages along the southern Red Sea coast: Marsa Shagra (the flagship, with one of the finest house reefs in Egypt), Marsa Nakari, and Wadi Lahami at the edge of the Fury Shoals.
